Youth Off The Streets supports chronically homeless and drug addicted young Australians as they work to turn their lives around. With over 20 services, it offers a full continuum of care through the provision of outreach services, crisis refuge, drug and alcohol treatment programs, counselling, accredited high schools, long term residential treatment programs, a semi-independent living and mentoring program and an aftercare program. It also runs a national scholarship program for disadvantaged young people and a national early intervention program in secondary schools.
Its goal is that young people leave its care drug free, with a high school education, life skills and a full or part time job in hand. Based on the philosophy that every young person has greatness within, these programs are non-denominational and non-discriminatory.
