In general the IT industry continues to experience consolidation with the major IT vendors pursuing acquisition strategies to round-out and keep current their product and services portfolios. The Identity Management segment is no exception. Oracle’s announcement to acquire Sun Microsystems in April 2009 effectively created an Identity Management segment with two dominant players.

With Oracle ranked #1 in so many categories across the board, including Identity Management, the decision to align with Oracle was simple. Agreon has invested in acquiring the Oracle-based certifications and experience required to do the job professionally, quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Oracle recently recognised Agreon’s Identity Management endeavours and capabilities with a Zenith Award for Identity Management Partner of the Year.
