Mona Vale, Australia June 1st 2002: Agreon, Australia’s only vendor independent systems integrator with a niche focus in Identity Management today announced it has deployed an Enterprise Password Management solution to a Global Manufacturing Firm.
This organisation faced significant pressure to reduce the help desk call volume, decrease the time to resolve issues and enhance the overall security of the organisations systems. Users, frustrated by long delays to resolve password problems, resorted to choosing trivial passwords, that are both easy to remember and easy to guess.
The password management solution was integrated with multiple systems including directory, database, OS and ERP systems, as well as integration with the organisation Help Desk system for the opening, closing and updating of password related Help Desk tickets, across 6 countries including Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, the Solomon Islands and Western Samoa.
According to a Senior Manager with the Manufacturer, "The ability to centralise the administration and provide self-service tools for end-users was key given our geographically remote locations. Agreon’s delivery and business focus ensured that the project was a success."
