Access360 pulls out of Australia, Agreon is born

Mona Vale, Australia August 27th 2001: Agreon today announced its formation as an independent systems integrator specialising solely in Identity Management.

Agreon plans to leverage the experience of its founders which includes the Risk division of a Global Consulting firm, one of Australia’s leading boutique integrators, a multinational vendor and a venture backed best of breed identity provider.

A catalyst to launching Agreon now was Access360’s recent withdrawal from Australia and New Zealand. Agreon is committed to supporting clients that have been pursuing identity initiatives with Access360 and now find themselves in need of an alternative.

Eddie Smith, Agreon Technical Director, formerly with Deloittes and Access360 adds “There is an air of excitement as Agreon moves to establish partnerships with several best of breed provisioning, web access control and directory services vendors. Agreon looks forward to assisting corporations across Australia and New Zealand with local independent Identity subject matter expertise and mature integration capability.”
